Winning the first prize in the deaf Lottery could mean getting rid of your mortgage, setting off on a luxury camping trip in your new motorhome, or booking tickets for a year-long cruise. That’s because you get to choose your first prize package, and different people have different ideas about how they’d like to receive their once-in-a-lifetime windfall. If you’re the lucky ticket holder on May 24^th, you’ll get to choose between 4 fabulous options – each worth $650,000 in prizes, cash and gold bullion. Making the decision won’t be easy, but it’s certainly a nice problem to have!

1^st Option: A New Home

Everyone’s got a pretty good idea of what they’d include in their ideal home. Maybe it’s a games room with a pool table, darts, and a top-of-the line home entertainment system. Maybe it’s a lap pool or a tennis court. Whatever you’ve got tucked away in the back of your mind, you could make it happen with this option to build a custom-home with Metricon.

You’ll start with $80,000 on account with one of the top builders in the country. You can choose from one of their existing plans or design your own palatial residence. Metricon can build on your own lot or provide you with one as part of a design/build package. You’ll then have up to $550,000 in gold bullion and $20,000 in cash to spend on making the home your own.

2^nd Option: A Motorhome or 4WD/Caravan Combo

Owning a top-of-the-line motorhome that has all the features of a luxurious residence can be a little out of most people’s price range. You’ll be able to afford the very best, however, if you choose this second option in the Deaf Lottery.

Start with $80,000 and decide whether you want a motorhome or a 4WD and caravan combination. The choice really depends on whether you want to tow your home and have the advantage of owning a second vehicle or would prefer not having to worry about hitching and levelling a caravan. You can then spend up to another $550,000 in gold bullion and $20,000 in cash on your purchase or choose to keep some of that money back to pay off debts and plan for future expenses. How elaborate you make your home-on-wheels is entirely up to you.

3^rd Option: Erase Your Mortgage

Tired of those monthly payments eating up the better part of your paycheck? This option lets you pay off your mortgage and treat yourself to a few extras instead of giving your money to the bank.

To begin with, you’ll select a new vehicle that’s worth at least $30,000. It’s like a little reward for paying off your debts. You’ll then have up to $600,000 in gold bullion and $20,000 in cash to pay off your mortgage, depending on how much you decide to spend on the car. Get that cherry-red Audi you’ve always wanted or pick out a less luxurious ride to keep more of the prize money for the other things on your wish-list.

4^th Option: Design Your Own Prize

The final option for the first prize package sends you on the shopping spree of your dreams. You’ll be given a list filled with cars, motorbikes, boats, farm equipment, trucks, motorhomes and fabulous trips with $80,000 to spend on whatever catches your fancy. Want more? No problem. Spend as much or as little of the remaining $550,000 in gold bullion on more prizes and still have $20,000 in cash to save for a rainy day.

This is the option for those who want a little of everything – cash, gold bullion, and a few toys to remind you that you’re walking away with a $650,000 windfall.

Important Dates

22 April 2018: deadline to be entered into all three Early Bird Bonus Draws.

20 May 2018: Deaf lottery draw #171 closes.

24 May 2018: the draw will be held at 467 Enoggera Road, Alderly QLD 4051 at 11:00am AEST.

Members of the public are welcome to attend the draw in person.

All winners will be notified by mail, and the winner of the fabulous first prize package will additionally be contacted by telephone.

Three Additional Bonus Draws Worth $30,000

Be sure to purchase a minimum of $20 in consecutive tickets (ticket books) to be entered into the bonus draws. If you make your purchases on or before midnight on 22 April 2018, you’ll be automatically in to win your share of 15 Travel Vouchers or Master Card Debit Cards. Each one is worth $2,000, so that’s another $30,000 in prizes just for getting in early.

If you miss the April 22^nd deadline for the Kick-Off draw, you can enter the Half-Time draw by purchasing your tickets on or before May 6^th. The deadline for the Full-Time bonus draw is May 20^th, the same date as the close of the main draw.

Ticket Books Add Gold Bullion

If you purchase a ticket book worth at least $10, you’ll receive additional gold bullion if you’re the lucky first prize winner in draw #171. Ticket books give you more chances to win, more gold bullion. You’ll also get a chance at the three bonus draws if you make your purchase of a minimum $20 book on or before April 22^nd, 2018.
