Every now and again we see a prize home that really makes you look twice, and the latest offering from the Mater Foundation is one of them. It’s a four-bedroom waterfront home in Hope Island that has truly unique architectural features like irregular geometrical windows, a terrific exterior lounge that has everything but the walls, and a Zen-like inner courtyard. Add to that a swimming pool you can actually swim in and you’ve got a prize home well worth exploring.

If you’ve been waiting for something a bit different on the Gold Coast, this home certainly fits the bill. Ticket books give you more chances and add gold bullion to the first prize package, so get yours early to be in to win this unique residence.

$1.8 Million Worth of Waterfront Living

The prize home in Mater draw #283 is in Hope Island, tucked between two world-class resorts in one of the most sought-after communities on the Gold Coast. With Sanctuary Cove on one side and the Hope Island resort on the other, you’ll be spoiled for choice when it comes to golf, boating, shopping and fine dining.

Hope Island lies near the mouth of the Coomera River and an extensive network of canals give its residents unparalleled waterfront access. The prize home is situated on one of these inland waterways, with deep mooring facilities available in the area’s many marinas. That means lots of luxury yachts — and all the upscale services to accommodate them are within easy reach.

The four-bedroom home is spread over two levels following a floorplan that’s both intriguing and functional. Fully half of the ground floor living area is out of doors, making the residence a dream for entertaining. The four upstairs bedrooms place the master facing the water, separated from the others by a large ensuite and walk-in robe. Every room is warmly decorated with timbered accents and the same blue and coral motif that marks the exterior façade.

This is a roomy, luxurious and elegant family home on the waterfront with design features that give it an air of distinction without abandoning its many comforts.
