The unique architectural design includes an inner courtyard that brings additional natural light into the home and helps control the interior temperature. It all adds up to a million-dollar residence that you can feel extra-proud to call your own.

A Home with a Difference

If you’ve been keeping an eye on the home lotteries, you’ve probably seen some pretty amazing homes on the coast, and they all boast spectacular scenery or over-the-top features. This home has all that, but with the addition of an eco-friendly design. From the inner courtyard to the multiple floor-to-ceiling windows, this home radiates natural light. The solar panels will keep your power bills in check, and there’s even a sizeable yet discreet water tank in the backyard.

This is the perfect location for such a distinctive home because the Tweed Coast is an environmental marvel. It boasts 35 kilometres of pristine beaches, and hundreds of trails that lead into the World Heritage listed Gondwana Rainforest. People come here to walk, paddle, cycle and simply appreciate a totally unspoilt corner of the planet. The home in bordered by Mooball Creek, and beyond that there’s nothing but ocean.

There’s a golf course on the edge of town if you fancy a walk on the greens, and plenty of local shopping, dining and cozy cafes. Beyond that, you’re a short drive from the border and all the excitement of the Gold Coast. This is also a home for artists, and the work of Tweed Coast painters, sculptors and pottery makers feature prominently in Australia’s pool of artistic talent.

Back home, you can relax in either of your two living rooms, and benefit from having four bedrooms and plenty of personal space for your family and guests. The kitchen is a real showpiece, with sleek appliances, a separate walk-in pantry, and a central breakfast island with counter-seating. The dining room overlooks the pool and comfortably seats eight, or you can move onto the al fresco for a meal under the stars.
